About The Inn At Kulaniapia, Hawaii: We are situated on 22 lush acres just 15 minutes from downtown Hilo, and 20 minutes from the airport, at a very comfortable elevation of 850ft. So close to town, yet our home is definitely in the country. Pheasant, Hawaiian Hawks, Owls and wild pig are common sight. Have a close encounter with our 120 ft. waterfall or swim in the 300 ft. wide pond at it's base. Walk over 2 miles of trails that weave their way along the powerful Waiau River, or have a barbecue in our botanical garden. you never run out of things to do a Kulaniapia.
