Fine Print: Adventures for up to two (2) guests have a 48 hour cancellation policy, and 72 for 3+ guests. We may cancel tours due to weather or not meeting the minimum guest count prior to the scheduled departure, in which case alternative Adventures will be offered. Individuals or couples may elect bypass the minimum guest requirement, instead of cancelling the tour, by paying an additional $50 per unoccupied seat, up to the minimum listed below. All guests must sign liability waivers to participate in any Adventures.
The Kulaniapia experience is not complete without rappelling down our namesake waterfall.
Your adventure takes you 120 feet down Kulaniapia Falls, led by our team of expert canyoneering guides. You will feel the power of Hawaii’s largest privately accessible waterfall, up close and personal, and may get wet.

Lava Tube Exploration
Gear up for an underground adventure, retracing the path of a river of lava that flowed underground 500 years ago.
Join our guides and explore over a one mile of the longest lava tube in Hawaii. Unique and varied lava formations provide an incredible perspective on the power of lava, and geological wonders of the island.
This Adventure is not suitable for those with limited mobility or a fear of confined places. Lunch is included.

Stargazing - CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE
If you want to see the stars like never before, join our guides, as we take our high powered Celestron CPC 1100 telescope to the best stargazing spots on the island, and the planet. With observation locations on Mauna Kea at over 9000 feet, and Mauna Loa, at over 11,000 feet, light pollution and atmospheric interference is minimal, providing for awe inspiring views. Depending on the night, we may see any number of galaxies, nebulae and other astrological wonders that began sending light our way millions of years ago.
This tour is designed to provide for the best stargazing possible, and the observation location is selected daily by your guides to provide for the best viewing conditions.

Lava is unpredictable on the Big Island, but we can help you find it and keep you safe.
Bike and/or hike out to the active lava flow with your guide, navigate vast lava fields, and hunt for breakouts like this one, which are equally inspiring and destructive.
