Getting together with old friends is hard, especially when our lives have taken us in unique and exciting directions, beyond what originally brought us together.

Christophe has spent the last few years developing a platform for unique and memorable shared experiences, taking many lessons from Cloudera, although in a completely different context/industry/scale. It started with a lazy bed and breakfast on Hawaii’s largest privately accessible waterfall, and today includes a full service adventure company, natural farm, luxury camping option, and unique food experiences, all tied together with passion, love and a brand of hospitality that is akin to being hosted by your best friends in a peaceful, but wild natural setting. We even started a blog to share our stories!

We love hosting groups with a common bond, whatever that may be, and since Cloudera literally made all of this possible, we are incredibly excited to share this experience with our friends who have been part of creating this opportunity over the years.

Our shared experience includes accommodation, food and an adventure activity for each guest (and of course, you can do more than one). It’s an opportunity for us to reconnect, and completely take over the property, so that everyone will be more likely to laugh at our old stories and inside jokes.

Main Event: August 9-12, 2019

Extended Arrival / Departure: August 8th and 13th


  • 3-5 nights accommodation at The Inn or The Farm (your choice).

  • One on-property Adventure: waterfall rappelling, horse back riding (coming by June), property/farm infrastructure tour (we are 100% off the grid), etc, Additional on property Adventures at $149, off property at $199 (lava tube exploration, stargazing, etc).

  • All of your meals from dinner on August 9th, through breakfast on August 12th.

  • Breakfast on early arrival / late departure days.


  • Alcohol and Gratuity (a single charge will be added to your folio at check in based on the group size and preferences).

  • Additional Adventures.

  • Transportation to/from the property.


All current and former Cloudera employees are welcome, with an advance booking window provided to our earliest employees. While not strictly enforced, we kindly ask that those who started in 2011 or later wait until January 1st, 2019 to register. If there is sufficient interest, we can hurry up on some new cabins.

$750-1200 per guest, depending on accommodations and length of stay.

Please note: If you prefer a private room, and there are no private options left, call us at 808-935-6789. We can often combine two shared units into a private unit, or ensure your are rooming with someone you know or are otherwise comfortable being matched with.


At Registration: 15% deposit, refundable until January 15th, 2019.

On January 15th, 2019: half payment (total of 50%), non-refundable unless space is taken by another guest.

On May 15th, 2019: final payment, non-refundable unless space is taken by another guest.
